Of all the ovarian hormones, which one is considered the most carcinogenic?
If you have visited your doctor and complained of hot flashes and night sweats, she probably prescribed an estrogen called Premarin.
"Premarin is estrogen extracted from a horse."
How healthy can it be to place estrogen from a horse into your body?
Many years ago, researchers tried to study the effects of hormone therapy on women (the study was called the Women's Health Initiative); the researchers had to cancel the hormone therapy part of the study because women in the hormone study were acquiring cancer.
"That's why doctors are so afraid to prescribe hormones; most prescription hormones are considered very carcinogenic."
Many alternative doctors switched from synthetic hormones and hormones from horses to bio-identical hormones. Bio-identical hormones have the same molecular structure as those found within our bodies.
Bio-identical hormones are compounded in the back room of a pharmacy from natural products like wild yams and soy.
The FDA has approved synthetic hormones that don't come close to the same molecular structure as those hormones found in our bodies. And they have also approved hormones extracted from a horse...
"The FDA has yet to approve bio-identical hormones that happen to have the same molecular structure as God-made hormones."
What the heck!
It’s all about the money.
Pharmaceutical companies can patent synthetic hormones and even hormones extracted from a horse and make a ton of money from it before any other pharmaceutical company can make a similar generic hormone.
“Pharmaceutical companies cannot patent a formula with the same molecular structure as a God-made hormone; therefore, they can’t jack up the prices and make a boatload of money.”
As you have already discovered, you no longer need a req form from your doctor to get a hormone test (hopefully, you already purchased your kit online), and guess what?
You no longer need a prescription to purchase hormones.
“That's right; you can purchase natural bioidentical hormones online with the same molecular structure as those circulating within your body.”
Before I move on, let’s review the typical first-phase symptoms of menopause; remember, there are three phases to menopause; one phase cascades onto the next, and each has its own set of symptoms.
The First Phase Symptoms of Menopause
Weight Loss Resistance
Hormonal Induced Anxiety
Hormonal Induced Depression
Loss of Interest in Being intimate
Loss of Motivation to be Social
Okay, so where did I begin when it came to treating my wife’s menacing menopausal symptoms?
The first supplement I had my wife take, once we discovered that she was estrogen-dominant, was (DIM), which I covered in the last e-course.
“DIM is more of a preventive treatment tool. It doesn’t eliminate estrogen dominance. DIM routes estrogen down the “good” pathway where a less carcinogenic and less fat-storing metabolite is made.”
Once my wife’s P/E Ratio indicated that she was estrogen dominant (a P/E Ratio of 100 to 1 or lower), I had her supplement with bioidentical progesterone.
After you have talked to your healthcare provider and she has approved DIM and your P/E Ratio indicated that you were Estrogen Dominant, it would be a good idea to talk to your healthcare provider about supplementing with bioidentical progesterone.
“Never supplement with any supplement without first acquiring approval from your healthcare provider.”
There are many different brands of progesterone cream you can purchase online. Here is an Amazon link to the progesterone cream my wife uses,
WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT PROGESTERONE
“Unopposed estrogen is called estrogen dominance in some medical literature. Without progesterone’s balancing influence, estrogen can work overtime in your body and cause cell overgrowths, like tumors in your uterine lining.”
“During menopause, taking estrogen without progesterone can increase the risk of endometrial cancer. When your body no longer sheds its endometrial lining (having your period), cells can build inside your uterus. Progesterone helps by thinning the lining of the uterus, reducing the risks of cell overgrowth and cancer.”
Since my wife is post-menopausal, she applies 20 mg (¼ teaspoon) of progesterone cream before going to bed for 28 days straight. She does not apply progesterone cream on days 29 to 31.
It is important for her to apply the cream on thin skin (Inner arm, thigh, or ankle) for proper absorption. It is also important that she rotate applications on a monthly basis because progesterone thickens the skin, causing absorption to be difficult.
If you are worried about passing progesterone to your loved ones as you sleep, wear clothing over the location of the application.
During times of intimacy, I have my clients apply the cream on the inner ankle and cover it with a sock.
Obviously, do not bathe after application.
If my wife were premenopausal (still having periods), she would apply one-half the dose (10 mg) for the first fourteen days of her cycle and a full dose (20mg) for the next fourteen days, then pause for three days during her period.
To be transparent, my menopausal clients do not like taking a three-day break because they claim that they crash. (Their Estrogen Dominant symptoms listed above return.)
In the next e-course, I will move into the Organic Sustenance Strand of The HOPE Protocol, a system to make menopause the best time of your life.

THIS WEEK’S SELFIE
Aluna Eating Spaghetti
Last week, one of our daughters asked if there was any way we could babysit our granddaughter, Aluna. We said of course! We jumped into our car and traveled three hundred miles to babysit. Someone asked us why we would travel 300 miles to babysit for two days. This picture above is why. We often fly and even drive 3000 miles to babysit our other grandchildren.
