
THE FUEL
WHAT EMOTION PROPELS SUCCESS?
In recent blogs, we learned what we desire most regarding the Me Strand: Our Have, for example, to weigh 135 pounds.
We then learned what we needed to Be to achieve our Have. Our Be is to Be a Mesomorph, someone whose weight is "just right."
Our initial Be to Have affirmation is:
"I am a Mesomorph (Be) who weighs 135 pounds (Have)."
We then learned that we must build a bridge to connect our Be and Have. I call this connection the HOPE Bridge.
The first component of The HOPE Bridge is the foundation:
The foundation to optimize hormones, weight, health, and minds begins with eating God-made food or, in other words, avoiding processed human-made food.
The second component of The HOPE Bridge is the vehicle:
The initial vehicle we drive across the bridge to optimize our hormones, weight, health, and minds is the Meso Menu, a low glycemic gourmet menu of clean animal proteins and high-fiber vegetables. The key to The Meso Menu is that we consume foods that keep insulin bottomed out.
The third component of The HOPE Bridge is the fuel.
To achieve anything we wish to Have, we must experience the emotion we will Have when we achieve our Have before we Have achieved it. After coaching patients and clients for four and a half decades, I have found that the one emotion that is the highest grade of fuel, the rocket fuel of success, is love.
LOVE
"The fuel that harmonizes your Be with your Have is Love."
Here is an example of how love propels us.
You are at the park. It is a beautiful spring-like day. The sun is shining, and there is a slight breeze. You're pushing your child on the toddler swing. Near the swing is a water fountain. You go to get a swig, and before you know it, someone wearing a hoody is taking your child out of the swing.
Your love for your child propels you to run faster than ever.
Your love for your child propels you to be stronger than ever.
Your love for your child makes you more determined than ever.
You grab hold of your child and yank it from the hooded intruder with tenacity.
Here is another example: you've graduated from college. You meet this girl while camping and can't get her out of your thoughts. She didn't ignore you but didn't entirely act as if she was attracted to you. You get her number from a friend and call her. Then you go out on a date. She tells you that she doesn't want a boyfriend at this time of her life, but you still can't get her out of your head. You keep calling and talking to her late at night as you two fall asleep. You wake one day and have been married to her for thirty-five years.
Your thoughts and actions to harmonize with this woman are tenacious.
You grab hold of the loves of your life with tenacity.
Tenacity - not readily relinquishing your course of action; determined to achieve.
"Love is tenacious."
HAVE VISUALIZATION
You affirm that you are "a mesomorph that weighs 135 pounds." You close your eyes to visualize your happy, ideal, bottom, healthy weight.
Your Be-Do-Have affirmation looks something like this:
"I am a Mesomorph who weighs 135 pounds. I achieve my ideal body weight by eating gourmet meals of God-made animal proteins and high-fiber vegetables.
You then visualize yourself at Nordstrom, sitting in the private Personal Shopper room. You are purchasing clothes for a Mediterranean vacation and need summer clothes that fit your mesomorph body. You've lost fifty pounds the right way through lifestyle changes with The HOPE Protocol, and you are proud of yourself.
Your Personal Shopper has gathered several sun dresses that she thinks will look good on you as you window shop the beach shops of St. Tropez. You put on your first sundress. It's a size four, and you love how you look and feel. You twirl in front of the trifold mirrors. You feel amazing.
It's love for yourself that propels you to your Have.
Loving yourself may sound self-centered.
"To love others best, you must love yourself first."
When one loves themself, this love will permeate to the other three Strands of Life.
The love for your inner circle
The love for your outer circle
The love for God
Love is the tenacious emotion that will propel you to your Haves.
When our haves are achieved through love, we become the EXAMPLE to others.
BE THE EXAMPLE
"Love your neighbor as yourself.."
Regarding God's love, God asks us to love others.
There is no better way to love others than by being an example.
My favorite affirmation throughout the day is "Be an example." It doesn't matter if I eat, walk, or lift weights; I tell myself, "Be an example." I can do that by doing whatever I am doing the best I can.
BE A MENTOR
My father was an incredible mentor. When he saw me doing something that could have been done better, he didn't tell me I was doing it wrong; he showed me how to do it better. Mentoring through love is showing others how to improve themselves. Love is improving. Teach people how to eat, drink, and be happy.
Be an example and be a mentor. That's an actual demonstration of love.

Great post….in the middle of snow coming down….however, I am telling myself that there are palm trees and sunshine out there and I can visit them in my mind and memories!
