On seventh generation consoles, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, RAGE often saw a disparity in the optimization on the hardware: major titles on PlayStation 3 usually had lower resolution and minor graphic effects, as in Grand Theft Auto IV (720p vs. 640p), in Midnight Club: Los Angeles (1280720p vs. 960720p) and in Red Dead Redemption (720p vs. 640p). Despite its problems in optimization equality, in July 2009, Chris Stead of IGN voted RAGE as one of the "10 Best Game Engines of [the 7th] Generation", saying: "RAGE's strengths are many. Its ability to handle large streaming worlds, complex A.I. arrangements, weather effects, fast network code and a multitude of gameplay styles will be obvious to anyone who has played GTA IV."
The Intel HD Graphics (Skylake) (GT1) is an integrated graphics unit, which can be found in low-end ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) processors of the Skylake generation. In most CPUs, this GPU was named Intel HD Graphics 510 or Intel HD Graphics 515 (see both pages for benchmarks and information).
The Intel HD Graphics 2000 (or Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD 2000 or GMA HD 2000) is an integrated graphics card in the Sandy Bridge codenamed processors. It is included in slower mobile processors (Pentium brand e.g. but called only Intel HD Graphics) and in most desktop processors. The HD Graphics 2000 has no dedicated memory but shares the fast Level 3 Cache with the CPU cores and also part of the main memory. Due to Turbo Boost, the GPU can be overclocked depending on the current CPU load and power consumption. The GMA HD 2000 offers only half of the 12 Execution Units (EUs) of the Intel GMA HD 3000.
